A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Bill was born on May 28, 1956 in Indian Head, Sk and spent most of his life between Indian Head and Katepwa Lake. After high school he obtained his Journeyman in Carpentry and worked with his father Leaman Jardine. Throughout his long career as a carpenter he worked primarily in the Indian Head area but was able to travel all over Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, the Yukon and the North West Territories.
He was very proud of his Métis heritage and found a real sense of self teaching young Indigenous students entering the carpentry trade in his later years. In addition to carpentry he enjoyed teaching and exploring a variety of hobbies such as Martial Arts, photography, guitar and Scouts as both a young Scout himself and a Scout Leader with his son.
Bill was an avid sports fan and loved spending time watching the Roughriders, the Miami Dolphins, tennis, rodeo and the Olympics among many others.
Bill loved spending time at Katepwa Lake throughout his entire life. His family and him would spend hours on the lake in their boat fishing, doing water sports and just cruising around.
Bill will be missed by the many family and friends that came into his life but most of all by his wife, children and grandsons.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Leaman and Jean Jardine.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, daughter Brandy (Craig) White, son Nelson Jardine and three grandsons, Jace, Lee and Blake White; his sisters and brother: Brenda (Wayne) Elliott, Rhonda (Les) Dales, Bryce (Kathy) Jardine and numerous nieces and nephews.
If friends so desire contributions may be made to the Saskatchewan Mental Health Coalition, 2702 – 12th. Ave. Regina, SK S4T 1J2 as tokens of remembrance.
