I was sorry to hear about my cousin, Adele.  She will be remembered in my prayers.  My condolences to her family.

Adele was a member of our "Single Socialites" group initiated in Woodbury MN.

I did not know her very well but she was always a welcomed part of the group.

She was optimistic and cheerful and it showed in her winning smile.

She will be missed by all of us.

May God bless her always and may she rest in peace.

Adele will be dearly missed.  Her passion for teaching and living life to the fullest was an inspiration.  She truly loved her family, friends and Savior!

We were so sorry to hear of Adele's passing.   We know that life is finite but we are never quite prepared for the next chapter.   The childhood memories and good times we shared will be cherished always. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  She will surely be missed by many.

I am glad Adele chose teaching as a profession....knowing her she touched many lives in a positive way. I will miss you my cousin! Tony

I was lucky enough to work as an aide in Adele's classroom in the early '00s. As others have said here and at the lovely service yesterday, she was a supremely dedicated, creative and energetic teacher with great love for her students. 

The bowls of candy on the display table at the church made me smile remembering the always-stocked candy drawer in Adele's desk at school, open to any hungry staff members. (She insisted she didn't regret telling me about it, but I wonder.) 

One of my favorite memories of Adele happened when she was being treated for cancer. She had lost her hair and was wearing a wig. We were outside with the students on a very windy day. Adele had to take an important call from her doctor's office and while she was talking, a powerful gust of wind suddenly blew the wig right off her head revealing her bald dome. While a couple of us chased the wig as it tumbled around the playground, Adele was laughing so hard she could not talk on the phone. Meanwhile she was looking to see if the kids had noticed in case they were upset by seeing her bald. Most of the students did not notice, but one, who was very close to Adele, had seen the wig flying off and rolling around. He also burst out laughing like it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. Adele's optimistic attitude toward the cancer, the treatment, losing her hair and then losing her wig to the wind--on top of so many other challenges she had faced--was just plain wonderful.

Our family will always be grateful for the patient, diligent care Adele gave to our son Anthony when she was his teacher at Highwood Hills Elementary.  May her soul rest in peace.

Didn't really know Adele personally, but have been a friend of her sister, Katie.  To all Adele's siblings, my most sincere condolences.  My prayers are with you all.

I went to high school with Adele and her brothers.  I've met & talked with her Mom also.   She was always full of energy and had lots of laughs.   I ran into her a couple of time after the high school years  and she still had that aurora around her.  I will remember your families in my prayers.

An Amazing teacher, a heart of gold, an incredible amount of patience and a gift from God to teach such special students.  I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her at school for many years.  An incredible woman! You will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Adele.  Because I have not been back to Wisconsin very much, I have been out of touch.  I do remember her from the Simon family reunions when we were children--she was always so full of life!  My thoughts are with her family and I will remember her in my prayers.  I serve at a Perpetual Adoration Service at St. Helen's Church here in Glendale, AZ, and I will say a prayer for her during my hour of devotion.  God bless you all.  Susan Trask (cousin)

I am so glad that I met Adele and our special education group at Highwood Hills. We stayed close and had so many good times together. I will miss our lively texts during the Packer games. Thank you, my dear friend for getting me to Lambeau Field. Love, Nancy

Adele was the most positive person I know.  She could always be counted on for chips and treats at her desk as well as supporting her "little ones" in the classroom. A wonderful teacher that will be greatly missed!

Adele was such a wonderful person and teacher!  I learned so much from her and will always remember her positive attitude even through her illnesses.

My thoughts are with the entire family.  I have great memories of being at the farm with all the kids and the fun we would have and my mom telling stories about going with Aunt Marie & Adele and how she couldn't believe how upbeat Adele was in the face of all her medical issues.  Adele will have plenty of people meeting her at Heaven's Gate
