Mr. Laue was one of the most professional teachers I had throughout my high school career at Woodbury High School back in the early 1990s. He was an icon of the business department, donning professional attire on a daily basis and having an air of competence, knowledge, and authority—yet always willing to crack a joke with an absolute deadpan expression that would have the class laughing when they finally realized he wasn't being serious. I owe him gratitude for my keyboarding skills, introduction to spreadsheet software, and personal financial management. 

I owe a great debt to Mr. Laue and all the teachers I had at Park Senior High school in Cottage Grove, MN.  Mr. Laue taught a group of us RPG programming.  I really loved the class and went on to make my career in Information Technology.  I remember Mr. Laue lead our class with professionalism, with great details shared in a way where it was easy to learn.  We all had an enjoyable time in his class.  It was collaborative, no one was left behind, very memorable.  Thank you, Mr. Laue, for your hard work and effort.  I will remember you forever.  My heartfelt condolences to his family.  I am very sorry for your loss.

Mr. Laue was one of my high school teachers.  In addition he was a friend of my parents (Rhiney & Ruth Sandy).  I am sorry to hear of his passing.  He was a wonderful teacher and such a nice man.  Take heart that you were able to have him as a husband and father and friend for all these years.  

I’ll always remember what a loyal and dedicated grandpa your dad was. I sat next to him at several baseball games. He was always a loving and proud grandpa! He loved watching Henry play ball! And he knew the game of baseball!! I am so sorry for you loss. The Laue family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

He will be greatly missed by his Wife, Linda Laue; Sons, Jeff (Deanna) Laue and Craig (Amy) Laue; Grandchildren, Henry, Hayden, Hanna, Brenden, and Chloe; Sister, Kathy Blom; Brothers, Rob (Deb) Laue and Randy Laue; numerous Nieces and Nephews.
