Jeannie I just want to tell you again how very very sorry I am about  Dougs passing .        I bet  Earl and  Doug  are  having a  great time  and  so happy they both have new spiritual bodies  now  and they love  being with all their   loved ones who  have gone to heaven  before them!! When I moved to Hallmark Way in Oakdale MN in my friend Nancy's house, Jean and Doug were are neighbors in the circle, we became instant friends, but Dougie decided that we couldn't be both called Jean, and that is when he gave me a nickname Bozo, then it got shorten to Boz.  The fun, memories we had and craziness and laughter I will hold in my heart forever. We loved to play practical jokes, drink and laugh, I will always remember watching Rick, Lori and Shelly growing up and also become part of the family.  Many times Dougie would just laugh and shake his head at what Jean and I were up to, but he put up with it with a great sense of humor.  I will miss his smile, laughter and him calling me "Boz"  Sending hugs, love and prayers to the entire family.  Until we meet again Dougie, thanks for the wonderful memories.

Doug was one of my favorite cousins.  Growing up, I saw him twice a week as my family  went to church every Wednesday evening and Sunday morning with Grandma & Grandpa Harrington. He lived in a duplex off Payne Ave. in St Paul next to our grandparents.  I often thought about stopping by his home in Woodbury for a visit, but put it off until it was too late. He was always a kind and caring man and as many other family members, I will miss him terribly.  I take comfort in knowing we will see him again, pain free, when we leave this earth. My prayers are with his family and friends.

My heart overflows with such deep sorrow, my precious cousin.  Never in a million years would I have thought that you would be the  one  out of all the cousins to make it to the finish line first.  Oh how I wish I could have been there to hear the Lord say to you, "Welcome home my good and faithful servant."

What is helping me get through this difficult time is picturing your entrance into the Holy City.  I can imagine the wonderful rejoicing as your mom and dad greeted you, and welcomed you home.....  I'm sure that it was beautiful to behold.  Their arms  are now full, while all of our hearts are broken and our arms are now empty. 

 I sure wish that  I could have hugged you just one more time and told you again just how much you mean to me.  I am so grateful to the Lord for all the precious  memories we shared and I will treasure them always.

I promise you that I will continually uphold your beautiful Jean and your precious children and grandchildren up to the Lord in prayer until God takes me home.   Until we meet again my sweet cousin and friend, I will hold you in my heart.

I met Doug and worked with him for the first time this past year at the golf course.  He left an indelible mark on my life in the short time I new him.  I will miss him.
