Mary was born on December 18,1934 to Anton and Cecilia (Wolf) Hulm on the family farm southwest of Timber Lake, South Dakota. She was raised on her family farm and attended school in Timber Lake until her freshman year when she stayed home to help on the farm. She married Walter H. Majorowicz on November 9, 1957 and moved to the Twin Cities where they made their home and family in Cottage Grove, MN. Although they later divorced, she continued her support and love of family and friends and was a dedicated employee of the U.S. Post Office for over 28 years. After retiring in August 1997, she moved to Georgetown, TX to enjoy the warmer weather and be near her daughter Chris and their family, but later moved back to Stillwater, MN in April 2020 to fulfill her remaining years in life and be closer to family and friends.
Mary was always disciplined and hard working, and a dedicated family member and lifelong friend to many. She enjoyed her time working at the U.S. Post Office, and also later at Kohls as she was never standing still and always busy doing things she loved. She was meticulous in her ability and talent, especially in crocheting and knitting beautiful works of art making several doilies and sweaters for her family and loved ones.
