John Edgar Walker

He was born December 14, 1930 in Fairplay, Missouri to Elmer William Walker and Esther Deborah Mitchum Walker. John married Patricia Lee Heath in Missouri on May 2, 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, with an honorable discharge. Patricia and John aong with their daughter, Sandra Lee moved to California in 1956, where John worked as an equipment operator and retired from the Tulare County Road Department. John, with his partner owned Union 76 Service Stations in Visalia and orange groves in Lemon Cove. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 1994.

John is survived by his son in law and daughter, John & Sandra Duvauchelle of Hawaii; his grandchildren John, Kyle, Jessica and Justin Beaver and great grandchild Emalani; his sister Mable Padilla; nieces Juanteece Chisim, Joanna French, Debbie Rico and nephew Rex Chisim.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 12 – 1 pm. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 134 Cypress in Woodlake, California with graveside services following at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlake Cemetery.
