Carolyn M. Singleton born to the late, Adeline Singleton and Odell Singleton in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She graduated from High School in South Carolina and moved down to New York City in the 1960’s where she became the mother to all of the children in her community. Carolyn was a very generous women with a great heart whom never denied a soul. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. We will mourn her passing and keep her alive in our memory.
She leaves behind her five daughters and two sons Eva Walters, Elizabeth C. Singleton, Christina Singleton, Maribel Gonzalez, Erica Smart Anthony L. Singleton and Eric Smart, and one living sister Ruby Ray, her siblings who predeceased her, Mrs. Mary Stewart, the late Isaac, Odell, James and Leroy Singleton, twenty grandchildren, two great grandchildren three son-in-laws Robert Nesmith Sr., George Walters and Shaun Williams, one daughter-in-law Latisha Hampton, her five godchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
