Prior to his illness, Danny worked for Mays Department Store in lower Manhattan and for 24 years at the US Post Office.
If the word gentleman was ever deleted from the dictionary, its meaning could be recaptured by knowing Danny. He was always kind and considerate of others. Always humble and generous. A truly great guy.
For 10 years Danny fought valiantly to overcome his advanced cancer. He endured harsh treatments, multiple surgeries and increasing loss of his independence. What Danny experienced would have crushed many individuals. He soldiered on.
We will all miss Danny’s bright presence in this world…but happy for his peace and wholeness in the next.
