Mazarake, Elizabeth (Nee Apicello) on September 12, 2012 at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late George (d.1993) Elizabeth obtained a black belt in karate in her late 80's as well as appearing in TV commercials during her later years.
The funeral liturgy will be held on Monday September 17, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. The interment will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, Queens, where she will be buried with her beloved husband George. There will be no calling hours. May she rest in peace.
