Franica Rucando was born in Croatia on February 18, 1925 to her parents Marion Radov and Lucia Holudic. She made her way to America and resided in Queens, New York. She made her living as a cleaning lady in an office building. Franica entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2016. She leaves behind her daughters Vera and Mira, her son Mladen, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. All of Franica's family and friends will miss her dearly. Wake Services will be held at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Funeral Home at 35-20 Broadway Long Island City, N.Y. 11106 on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 7 - 9 P.M. and Friday January 8, 2016 from 2 - 5 P.M. and 7 - 9 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Church on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. Franica's interment will be held after mass at St. Michael's Cemetery.
