Gilda Nunes of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on October 24th, 2014. Gilda was born in Madiera Island, Portugal to Fernando Gabriel Barbeito and Cesaria Gomes on January 15th, 1938. Gilda is survived by her children James, Lisa and Maria. Also survived by her grand-children, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2014 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th at Most Precious Blood Church at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, located in Farmingdale, New York.
