Ma its been five years...and it feels like you are still here guiding me and speaking to me.  I really missed you. 

Ma I miss you very much...it's going to be two years since you have been gone.  It's very lonely not having you around to call every day.  Ma for me you never judge, you always tell me the way you see it.  I had to figure out how to spin or deal with the situation based on your advice.  I really miss you.

Ma, it was very difficult to celebrate Christmas and New Year your birthday without you around.  I called all your other children to wish them Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  No one answered their phone.  I know they all have their own family....imagine that?

The things you used to tell me when we discussed them when you are alive....has not changed.  I understand that now.  You were right all along.  We too Ma to Richardo's Steakhouse.

Its been one year and one week since my mother passed away.  I still hear her telling me things.  She and I got along well when she was alive.  She spoke and I listen.  When Steffan was getting married she couldn't make it.  However, Steffan and Kennia dressed up and came to take pictures with her. 

That night when I walked in her room in the nursing home to see her.  I have not seen her so emotionally and physically happy in a long time.  She said "Steffan and Kennia came here to take pictures with me and you should see how beautiful they both look".  

I agreed with her and I told her about the wedding.

It's been two months and twenty-two days since my mother passed away.  I missed speaking with my mother daily, discussing my daily issues and her helping me resolve them.  Her experiences as a building super came in handy to help me with my buildings.   
 I am starting to feel something else now that Thanksgiving is around the corner.  We spent every Thanksgiving at home making sure Ma is able to come and spend few hours with us and the kids.

I missed my mother.........I spent many hours together my parents and I.  I spent more time with my mother after the passing of my  father.  I spoke with her every evening after work.  She was my weather person, anchor woman, and my advisor.  

I was the only one who was able to get her to dine out...at Carmines, Richardo's, Italians and many other restaurants.  I loved to watch my mother enjoy her meals at those restaurants.  She would not accept peoples invites without checking with me.  My mother wanted to make sure she got a ride to and from the invites.  

My mother and I are the same.  We make sure everyone is on our side by telling them what they want to hear.
