Dear Baldridge Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Harold.  I am so grateful for the support you all gave to myself and my then husband, Lance Olson.  It was shortly after our visit with you in New York that we ended up with our daughter, Nicole Noel Ann Olson Grant-Suttie.  As it would happen, she too followed in the theatre footsteps, and is now involved further into the art world.  I am so certain the influence of both Mary and Harold had on our lives, that I took this moment to stop and try to find you both.  Please know that you were a treasure to know, such a positive influence, and inspirational - still to this day. With love and light, Susan Grant-Suttie

As a teacher, colleague and friend I have watched Harold over the past 60 years become one of New York's most respected theatre figures-director, teacher and administrator. We were so privileged to have spent the evening with Harold and Mary about a month ago.  Something pushed us to be sure and call the Baldridges.  Harold was such a special actor, director and friend.  His kind demeanor, gentleness and intelligence contributed a great deal to our lives.  He is irreplaceable.

On behalf of the company of artists and administrators at Theatre Calgary, we send our love and sympathy to Harold's family and friends. His legacy lives on not just through the theatres he led, but to all those whom he worked with and touched as a colleague and an artist. He will be missed.

I had the honor of being a student of Harold's in 1962-64. He was a great teacher and friend. I used to knit during our classes and and he said if I was going to knit then I needed to knit him a sweater... I did. He was a great teacher, friend, mentor to many. My heart-felt sympathy to his family. I was Linda Soll when I was his student.

A kind, great man who I respected so much.  He was a rock for so many of us who went to the Playhouse.  A man none of us will forget, all he had to do was smile in your direction once.  My condolences to his family.
