Sheila Grant passed away on April 22, 2022 after a long illness, at the age of 80 years. Ms. Grant is survived by her daughter, Allison Grant. She was preceded in death by her son, Adam, and her sister and parents. Sheila was a loving and devoted mother. Sheila was born in North Carolina but moved to New York as a young adult. She lived in Westchester County while her children were young and later moved to New York City, where she remained the rest of her life. Her last marriage to the late Henry Rosenberg ended in divorce.
Sheila was discovered as a fashion model at age 43, while walking down a street in New York City. She became an accomplished model, stylist, and author of the well-received book, “Any Woman Can.” She worked as a fashion director for TV shows on CBS and NBC, and then started her own image consulting firm, advising individual clients and conducting seminars and workshops for women.
Sheila was a warm woman who always had a smile on her face. She loved music and art, creating beautiful artwork of her own.
