Stanko Milin of Long Island City passed away on July 7th, 2012. Stan was born in Croatia on February 10, 1926. He married Gerda on September 11th, 1959. Stan was a Chef at Downey Steakhouse, Rainbow Room, Danny's Hideaway, La Champion and Mayflower Hotel. He cooked for many celebrities, such as Judy Garland and Henry Fonda, just to name a few. He was an avid reader of good books and the New York Times from front to back. He was survived by his children Doris Murray, Anka Milin - Cambareri and Frank Milin. His grand-children, Melissa, Amanda, Marilyn, Bryan, Collette and Gabriella. His siblings, Ljubica, Janja, Frane and Vlatko. The viewing will be on Tuesday July 10th from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9. The funeral mass will be 10:30 on Wednesday at Most Precious Blood R/C Church, Internment at Pinelawn Cemetery.
