Benjamin Gemmer Alstoft, age 40, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2025. Born on March 7, 1985, in Hvidovre, Denmark, Benjamin will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving son and brother, and a man who lived life with intensity, passion, and purpose.
Benjamin’s life was grounded in the things he loved most: his family, the open road, and the freedom he found in motorcycles, cars, and the ocean air by the beach. He embodied a spirit of determination and loyalty—never one to shy away from a challenge, and always giving his all. His personal motto, Carpe Diem, reflected the way he approached life—with unstoppable energy and a wholehearted embrace of every moment.
At the heart of Benjamin’s life were his children: Seth, Sydney, and Lennox. He was a proud and devoted father, and his love for them defined who he was. His strength, laughter, and values live on through them, and his guiding presence will continue to shape their lives.
He is survived by his mother, Tina Gemmer Alstoft Lynge; his siblings, Casper Gemmer Alstoft (his twin brother), Nick Thomas, and Jordan Dane Alstoft; and by countless friends who admired his unwavering loyalty and vibrant spirit. He is also lovingly remembered by Natalie, the mother of his youngest son, Lennox, and by stepchildren Lilah and Landon, who held a special place in his heart.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his father, Bo Flemming Nordenberg Alstoft, and his beloved sister, Jessica Hunt—whose passing just one month prior.
Benjamin’s life was a testament to devotion, resilience, and the joy of truly living. Though his time with us was far too short, the legacy he leaves behind—in love, memories, and spirit—will endure. He is at peace and will be deeply missed, forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Benjamin’s life will be held in Indiana on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
