Carrie grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to the Dacula area in 1998 to be close to her family. When she moved to Georgia, she developed a love for the Georgia Bulldogs. She stayed true to the Bulldogs even when many of her close friends cheered for the opposing team. She was always there for anyone who needed her and she whole-heartedly enjoyed working with people and helping them. Carrie was very compassionate by nature which led her to begin working at the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta. Her compassion and selflessness carried her to her career in 2001 as the 25th employee with Metro Atlanta Emergency Ambulance Service. For a short amount of time, she moved back to
Nevada and worked for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and NASCAR as the lead fire safety coordinator, under Dr. Dale Carrison. She then moved back home to Atlanta and continued her job for Metro Atlanta where she was currently employed. In 2008, Carrie became an amazing mother to her son, Cayden, who became the center of her world.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Kenny and Lois Farmer; son, Cayden James Cochran; brother, Phil (Greta) Farmer; nephews, Gage and Drew, and Niece, Jelly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at three o’clock in the afternoon at His Hands Church, 550 Molly Lane, Woodstock, Georgia, 30189.
Rather than flowers; the family respectfully requests memorial contributions for Cayden's future education. Checks should be made out to Cayden Cochran, in care of Woodstock Funeral Home.
