Crockett...There are no words to explain just what you meant to me in my life. You were my first love, my highschool sweetheart. I was so blessed that you were my friend even after all the years rolled by. 40 years!!! We always said not many high school sweethearts could say that. Your leaving us has left us all heartbroken Crockett and I know you think it's time to stop my blubbering and I am trying so very hard. Your family has treated me as if I were one of them and for that I am and always will be grateful. You will forever be a part of me. I wish I would have said " I love you" the last time we spoke. But I know you knew, just as I knew you loved me. I will always miss you.... I will always love you. My heart breaks every day for you. REST IN PEACE My dear Crockett.

Daddy called me last Monday to tell me of Crockett's passing - just didn't seem possible but I guess we all are getting older.  As Crockett's half-sister, my only memories of him are when he would pick on me or pick me up, tossing me around playfully with Robert, Michael, and the others.  To the all of the "halfs" - Debra, Diana, Michael, Robert, & Charlie - my love.  Mama Dot, love you.

Crockett I will miss you very much my friend. I can remember meeting you for the first time at Siemens in Canton where we worked.  Playing on the softball team and even after I moved down to the south side of town we still stayed in touch. We flew My inlaw's small airplane over to meet your dad and hung out with him for the night and met some interesting people at Wilsons Kountry Store. We drove the old model A around that morning even though it was 40 degrees outside. Then we flew out of my wifes grandfathers property on the way to Panama city where we came out of a storm and and lost our heading and did a touch and go at Eglin airforce base. What a day that was!  My favorite memory was the time we borrowed your sisters BMW and went to the Bad Company concert at Lakewood and blew a fuse so we couldnt close the sunroof and it was supposed to rain we got real lucky it held off. I will miss you very much and my heart pours out to your family and friends who I know will also miss you very much.
