Mrs. Doris Ann Martin Ponder, 94, of Woodstock, GA passed away August 18, 2017. Doris was born in Atlanta, GA on May 24, 1923 to the late Irvin and Mary Martin. Doris enjoyed a career working side by side with her sister for over 37 years at Southern Bell. She was a member of the Pioneer’s Club at Bellsouth. Doris was a beautiful and well-dressed woman. Her family will remember her for her feisty spirit and outgoing and outspoken personality. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Walt Ponder. She leaves behind her sister, Eleise M. Bennett, brother, Jerry Martin and many loving nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00pm at Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will depart Woodstock Funeral Home at 1:00pm to process to the cemetery.
