

Grady B. Henrich, age, 75, went to be with Jesus July 23, 2012. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Woodstock, GA. Grady was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was born the third of four children in Houston, TX to parents, Vera Mae and Adolph D. Henrich. He was raised in Maplewood, LA, graduated from Sulphur High School, and attended Louisiana Tech for 3 years. Grady was an engineer in the aircraft industry, working for Lockheed Corp., North American Corp. and Glenn L. Martin Co. before retirement. He was a dedicated Christian and served in various capacities throughout his years in several churches, including Elder at Cornerstone Community Church and at Promised Land Bible Church. In addition to his Church Service, Grady was an avid gardener, woodworker and outdoorsman who also played and enjoyed numerous sports activities. Grady was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother, Fred and his sister Dorothy. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of more than 55 years Beverly, daughter, Cynthia Henrich, son, Keith Henrich and wife Mickie, brother Denton Henrich and wife Ray, brother-in-law Robert Burton and wife Sandy, granddaughter, Amie Harris, grandson Jeremy Harris and wife Misty and great-granddaughter Madalyn Harris, many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other precious friends which are just like family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor David Kight of Cornerstone Community Church will officiate with Elders, Norm Potter and Gene Pendley assisting The interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, 120 Memorial Dr. Canton, GA 30114. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 3 until 5 pm and 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Pastor David Kight, Bobbie Kight and dozens of friends for their caring support during this time of grief. Flowers will be accepted and those who wish may make memorials to Cornerstone Community Church of Cherokee County or Cherokee County Community Chorale.
