

John Thomas Coleman age 73 of Woodstock, Georgia passed away suddenly on January 16, 2021. He was born November 24, 1947 to Raymond and Lavelle Coleman in Pike County, Kentucky. He graduated from Belfry High School. He attended Berea College for a short time. Instead of waiting to be drafted, he joined the Air Force. He was posted to Cam Ranh Bay Air Base where he served as a Sergeant, Specialist in Administration and Personnel. He finished college and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University.
He was the retired owner/partner of the Blue Demon Company. He enjoyed spending spare time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and other family members and friends. His favorite pastime was watching almost any sport on TV. But his favorite was the Kentucky Wildcats.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Anna Rhae Baldwin and Cynthia Hildebrant; brother in law John McNeil; sister in law Sandy Coleman.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Elaine Coleman; son John R. Coleman (Joanna); daughter Laura Hill (Dustin); son Jevon Coleman; grandchildren Allison, Katie, Henry, Fischer, and Lucas. His sisters Betty McNeil and Margaret Taylor (Jeffrey), brothers Raymond Coleman and Brad Coleman. He is also survived by his favorite Uncle JC Miller (Nancy) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
