John R Kirby Jr.

Mr. John Ralph Kirby, Jr, 52, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away March 3, 2017. John was born on June 5, 1964 in Dover, Delaware. He graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona in 1982. John was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades and master of none. He would often ask, “do you want me to build you a house or a car, cause I can do both.” He enjoyed watching Nascar, flying his large RC planes and helicopters and caring for his salt water fish tank. He was also an avid Falcons fan. John will be remembered for his caring and selfless personality. He will be immensely missed by many friends and his loving family. John is survived by his children, Stacy Kirby, Joshua Singleton and Nakita Kirby, grandchild, Noah Amos, parents, John and Lorraine Kirby. Also surviving are family members, Donna Kirby, Sherry Smith, Martha Smith, sisters, Laura Cordasco and Michelle Dunlavy (Troy) and nieces and nephews, Anthony, Kyle, Kayla, Haley and Chandler. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6-8pm at Woodstock Funeral Home. A celebration of John’s life will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
