Karen Grace Meeneghan Thomas

Mrs. Karen Grace Thomas age 50 born July 26, 1960 died June 2, 2011. Funeral services will be held 12 noon at Woodstock Christian Church, 7700 Highway 92 Woodstock, Georgia with Ron Mobley officiating. Interment at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Mrs. Thomas will lie in state at 11:00 am at the church.

Family will receve friends from 5 till 8 Sunday at Woodstock Funeral Home.

Born in Seoul Korea. Mrs. Thomas worked in home health care most of her career. She was a member and volunteered at Northwest Christian Church food pantry in Acworth and Meals for Wheels. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Proceeded in death by father John "Jack" V. Meeneghan.

Husband - Captain (Retired) Larry W. Thomas, US Army of Kennesaw, GA

2 sons - Joshua J. Thomas and his wife Miriam; Bryon J. Thomas and his wife Anna.

Mother - Audrey Meeneghan of Carlisle, PA

grandchildren - Elizabeth P. Thomas; Iliana I. Thomas; and Caprina B. Thomas

Sister -Linda Meeneghan of Carlisle, PA

Brothers - Terry Meeneghan of Pittsburgh, PA; Eric Meeneghan of Fort Collins, CO
