

Mack Scogin, 56, of Douglasville, GA passed away November 11, 2015. Mack was born on June 23, 1959 in Slidell, LA. After graduating from high school in Slidell, Mack worked for Western Electric and transferred to the Atlanta area. He then enjoyed a career with AT&T as an Ethernet Technician. Mack will be remembered for his strong work ethic and always willing to go above and beyond at work. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed running, fishing and hunting. He was also an avid LSU fan. Mack enjoyed cooking Louisiana cuisine and perfected his Gumbo recipe. Mack is going to be immensely missed by his close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Scogin. Mack leaves behind his wife, Glenis Scogin, parents-in-law, Norman and Joyce Flynn, brother-in-law and his wife, Dorian and Cheri Flynn, several nieces and nephews and his mother, Norma Scogin as well has his siblings. A celebration of Mack’s life will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188, 770-926-3107.
