

Mildred Naomie Cooper, 89 of Alpharetta, Georgia, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was a member of Beverly Baptist Church, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Before moving to Georgia in 1959, she worked at the Standard Knitting Mill. After the family moved to Georgia, she was employed at Photographic Assistance Corporation, where she worked in the shipping office, retiring shortly after the plant permanently closed. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Andrew Cooper. She is survived by her son Dr. David L. Cooper and his wife Judith, of Alpharetta, GA; her granddaughter Wendy Marlow of Locust Grove, GA; her grandsons David (Buzz) Cooper Jr. and his wife Lori of Virginia Beach, VA; Phillip (Coop) Cooper and his wife Sara of Canton, GA; eight great grandchildren, Timothy Behrens, Brenden and Bradey Marlow, Hadley and Cole Cooper, Hayden, Jackson, and Madelyn (Mady) Cooper; sister Martha Wallace of Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home with the funeral service at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home. The interment will be at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, on Cobb Parkway, Marietta, GA. Arrangements under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, GA.
