She resided in Baltimore, Maryland before recently moving to Woodstock, Georgia.
She spent over 25 years as well-loved teacher at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore. She enjoyed sharing her native language with her many students.
Monique is survived by her husband, Richard "Mike" of 68 years. Also survived by her daughters, Evelyn Wittmyer (John), and Maureen Dunsdon (Tracy) and her four grandchildren, Nicole Foard (Drew), Elizabeth Shields, Philip Dunsdon (Katelyn) and Amanda O'Keefe (Ryan) and three great-grandchildren.
Monique will be remembered for entertaining friends and family with her French cooking, as well as sharing her many French traditions. She may have been petite, but she loved big. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF.org).
