

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sandra Mae Dault, 74, of Canton, Georgia. She went to the Lord on December 31, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on September 20, 1951, in Alpena, Michigan, to the late John and Lottie Tessmer. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She married her sweetheart, Dennis Dault, on March 14, 1970, in Alpena, Michigan, and they spent 55 blessed years together. Sandy and Denny had three beautiful children; Scott (Jackie) Dault; Denise (Matt) Crowley; James (Megan) Dault. The joy of her life were her eight grandchildren; Preston (Elise), Mary, Caitlyn, Lily, Madalyn, Owen, Graham, and Weston. Sandy is survived by her brother Robert (Kim) Tessmer; Sister-in-law Dawn (Joe) LaBelle, niece Michelle (Jason) Darko and several other nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Tessmer and brother-in-law, Steve Dault.
Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was known for her great cookies and scrumptious desserts. She always loved a good cup of coffee and a sweet treat. Sandy had many hobbies which included: crocheting, doing puzzles, jewell dot art, ceramics, reading, and solving crossword puzzles. Sandy had a love and special bond with her dogs including Tobby. She was an avid thrifter and could always find the best deals. If you needed something special, she would hunt it down for you. Sandy will always be known as a loving and caring person. She was a great listener and knew what to say to make you feel special. Sandy dedicated her life to the Lord, her church, The Factory Church, and was a devoted Christian.
