James Scott Kenerly, 59, of Woodstock, GA died Tuesday morning, October 1st.
He was born to Hildreth and Anne Maude Kenerly, March 25th, 1960 in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Wills High School in 1978, and attended Trevecca Nazarene University thereafter. He married Robin McPherson in 1981. They lived together at Trevecca, before relocating to Ohio, and finally Woodstock, GA.
Scott was a letter carrier for the USPS for 30 years before retiring in 2018. He was an avid sports fan, most notably for the Georgia Bulldogs, and as a long time season ticket holder for the Atlanta Falcons. He enjoyed relaxing and taking summer trips to the beach with family. He also enjoyed fishing with family at any opportunity in Louisiana.
Scott is survived by his wife, Robin, and his sons, Lance, Kyle, and Blake. He is also survived by his only granddaughter, Payton.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to St. Judes or Trevecca Nazarene University.
