Sonya Price Adams

Sonya is survived by her loving parents, Joe and Kathy Price; her sisters, Amy Truitt and Carrie Robinson; and her beloved children, Mackenzie Adams and Olivia Mattos.

Above all else, Sonya was a devoted and loving mother. Her children were the center of her world, and her greatest purpose in life was to ensure their happiness and well being.

Sonya was a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. She was deeply passionate about creativity and believed wholeheartedly that art is a form of therapy and healing. An advocate for Epilepsy Awareness, Sonya worked to bring understanding support, and visibility to a cause close to her heart.

In the words of Aristotle: “The aim of art is not to represent the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”

Sonya’s art always represented her feelings & how she wanted others to feel when they saw it.
