

Vernon was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 29, 1945 and passed away on August 12, 2011 in Auburn, Georgia.
Vernon had it about as good as the next guy could have it. He had five brothers Raymon, Richard, Bob, Tommy and Charlie.
His mother Mary Dixon Watson was the best mother anyone could ask for, and his father Ray Clark.
His mother did all she could to raise him right. He had fun hanging out on the streets of Atlanta with his five brothers. They had a lot of fun and did a good job of staying out of trouble.
After high school he worked for W.C Caye and Company. He was drafted into the Army in 1966. After his tour of duty he was discharged with a honorable discharge.
When he returned home he married Beverly Wilson. They had two of the greatest children you could ask for, Brian Clark and Tiffany Clark Obert.
Some of his proudest family moments were the birth of his two children. He said they were the most wonderful children anyone could ask for and they made him proud.
Vernon worked for Brigss for thirteen years and was very proud of his accomplishments there. He was awarded Salesman of the year in 1982. While in the Army Vernon earned the Vietnam Combat Badge, C.I.V and flight medals.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Clark, daughter Tiffany Clark Obert, son Brian Vernon Clark mother Mary Dixon Watson, grandchildren Cargon Clark,Zachary J. Obert, Rileigh Obert, Colton Obert. Brothers Raymon, Richard, Bob, Tommy and Charlie Clark. He was predeceased by his father Ray Clark.
