OBITUARY

William Michael Adamack

14 January, 19813 October, 2020

On Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 we lost a son, brother, cousin, and friend in William Michael Adamack.

Will was a gentle, kind soul and his warmth will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He embodied kindness and was always quick to lend a sympathetic ear to anyone in need. We are devastated to have lost him at the young age of 39. Will was born in Miami, Florida, and grew up in Woodstock, Georgia. He graduated from Etowah High School in 1999. Will began his career as an electrician and then moved into the petroleum industry for the past 16 years. In his free time he enjoyed making electronic music and art, collecting vinyls, and DJing. From an early age, Will loved playing and watching baseball, soccer, and golf.

Like millions across the globe, Will suffered from opiate addiction. This tragic story has become all too common. The disease of addiction is merciless and so unnecessarily full of shame for those suffering.

In honor of Will’s memory, we want to support other families who could benefit from addiction recovery support. Will was his healthiest and happiest while working with Patrick from Being True to You, and these funds will support and subsidize coaching from Patrick and his team, https://beingtruetoyou.com/. At Being True to You, they focus on the opportunity of recovery rather than the “disease” of addiction.

We want to express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks for your memories and donations.
