Daniel L. Osborne Jr.

Daniel L. Osborne Jr., age 46, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, August 24th, 2023 at Riverside Hospital. Danny was born on June 11th, 1977 in Columbus, Ohio at Riverside Hospital. Danny is survived by his loving wife Mandy A. Osborne of 25 years, as well as his three children, Megan Scherbarth (Derek Scherbarth), Kyle Osborne and Brianna Osborne, and his three beautiful grand-daughters Amelia, Ariella and Aaliyah. Also survived by his mother Cynthia Conlon, step-father Gary Conlon, sisters Amanda and Misty, step brother Danny and half siblings, Savannah, Matt, Isaiah, Elijah and Chasity and so many special and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Danny is preceded in death by his father Daniel L. Osborne Sr. and his sister Rachel, both sets of his grandparents, his beloved Uncle Jim and sweet Aunt Dee Dee.

Danny graduated from Beechcroft High School in 1995. He worked in construction most of his life and was a local business owner in which he started with his son, Kyle in 2013.

Danny will be remembered for being the ultimate family man, someone you could always count on and someone who always knew how to make you laugh. Danny was the life of the party. His motto was always “work hard, play hard”. In his free time he loved spending time with his wife, kids & grand-daughters, vacationing with his family, Sunday fundays at the casino and hanging out with his friends and family at the Moose Lodge 1427 where he was a board member. Danny was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan. With that being said, in honor of Danny we will be wearing Ohio State jerseys for the showing.

A visitation for Danny will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington followed by a funeral service occurring on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be his very best friends/brothers Joe O’Keefe, Mike Farkas, Daniel Conlon, Jason Eiland, Eugene Robar and Danny Inman.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 2nd at the Moose Lodge 1427 located on 1970 Schrock Road, Columbus, OH 43229 at 2:00pm.
