She grew up in the Beechwold neighborhood , graduated from Whetstone High School and attended Nursing schools in Michigan and later Otterbein University. As a Registered Nurse she worked for the Columbus Public Health Department in a program called Great Starts where she and a Social Worker made home visits to high risk newborn babies. She retired in 2015.
Diane enjoyed reading, sea side vacations and European river and ocean cruises. She followed several sports teams and enjoyed Pro Musica concerts.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Ted and her daughter, Jessica.
Diane did not want a funeral or any celebrations of life after her death. A simple, private scattering of ashes will be done at a later date.
