

Julianna P. Youngs (Rinas) Born February 4th, 1940, at home in Clarendon, New York. Passed away peacefully December 24th, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Natalie Rinas, sisters, Elsie Berger, Sophie Christian, Rosie Schleede, Ida Tokotch, brothers, Roland Rinas, Oscar Rinas and her Son-in-law John M. McCormac. Julie is survived by sister Janet Rinas of Holley, New York, and by her daughter Tamarra Stiffler (Harold), grandchildren, Shawn McCormac, Crista McCormac-Tonti (Cole), Tara McCormac, great-grandchildren, Callum Tonti, and Caison Tonti. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was a 1957 graduate of Holley Central High School in Holley, New York and in 2024 attended their 67th reunion in Brockport, New York. She spent 3 years at Brockport State Teachers College working toward her teaching degree in Physical Education. She obtained her Associate degree in Business Management from Columbus State Community College in 1983. She worked at NAPA auto parts for thirty plus years ending her career there in accounts receivable. She was an avid bowler, having bowled all her life until March of 2020. She was on TV many times having participated in Scotch Doubles tournaments on a regular basis when they were televised in Columbus. She played softball during the summer, multiple nights a week, with tournaments on the weekends. She was involved in bible study with a local community church leaving behind many close friends. Julie will be remembered for always having cup of coffee and cigarette in hand. She also liked to crochet having made many baby outfits, blankets, and hats for family and friends.
Visitation will be at Schoedinger’s Funeral Home, 6699 N. High St. Worthington, Ohio 43085 on Friday January 9th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm with service following immediately at 4:00pm.
