

Lauretta was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Huber Level; her parents, Max and Garneta Hoover; and her stepson, Steve Anderson.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, C.R. Andy Anderson; her daughter, Beth, and son-in-law, Rich; her son, Bret; her stepdaughter, Kathy and son in law, Tom; siblings Janeen (Dick) Joseph, Kenny (Carol) Hoover, Jack Hoover, Fern (Lloyd) Love, Frank (Nancy) Hoover and her beloved grandchildren Taylor, Trey, Sophie, Logan, Sami, and Joe, along with their spouses, and great grandchildren, Carlyle, Sawyer, Gunner and Bexton who were the joy of her life.
Lauretta devoted 38 years to educating young minds as a kindergarten teacher with Columbus City Schools. Her love for children extended far beyond the classroom, and she touched countless lives with her patience, encouragement, and gentle spirit.
A faithful member of The Church of the Good Shepherd, Lauretta generously volunteered her time and talents, always willing to help wherever she was needed. Her faith and service were central to her life.
Lauretta found her greatest happiness spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, sewing, and gardening—activities through which she lovingly cared for others. Known for her warm heart, kindness, and storytelling, Lauretta had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome and could always bring a smile to those around her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her compassion, generosity, and unwavering love.
A visitation will be held on December 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A memorial service will take place at Schoedinger Worthington, located at 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio, 43085, on December 23, 2025, at 11:00 am.
