Born on May 21, 1942, in Louisa, Kentucky. Mary’s greatest joy was her family, especially the great grandchildren. She regularly called to check on them, see how they were and what they were up to. She wanted to know every detail and she didn’t know a short telephone conversation. Mary was a country girl at heart. Her talents included gardening and cooking, excelling at both. She acquired her green thumb from her mother. Mary grew the most beautiful flowers and plants. Her knack for bringing back plants that others would have given up on amazed everyone. For years, her family and friends gathered to enjoy her cooking. Her passion for growing plants and cooking family meals will be remembered and missed by all that were fortunate enough to enjoy them with her.
Mary is survived by her husband, John Marsh, her sons Michael (Christi) Marsh, Matthew (Becky) Marsh, grandchildren Nicholas (Bentina) Marsh, Zachary’s wife Briana Marsh, Andrew Marsh, and Audrey (Kraig) Manion, great grandchildren Ruby, Stella, Theo, Parker, Rowan and Molly. She is also survived by sister Debbie Edwards; John’s children Michelle (Shawn), Johnny (Crystal) and David (Tina) and their children and grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her daughter Julie Marsh and grandson Zachary Marsh.
Mary was taken to meet her Lord unexpectantly on September 18th. Granny - You will ALWAYS be missed. LOVE Ya
