

Nancy Bailey, 93, of Delaware passed away on March 7, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1930, in Port Clinton OH, to the late Milton and Evelyn (Zeis) Heath. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Clifton Bailey; and her brother, William James Heath.
Nancy grew up in Port Clinton and loved everything about Lake Erie, including boating, swimming, and fishing for perch. Living out her Christian faith was very important to her. She raised their five children in a Christian home and was influential in the family’s walk with the Lord. Nancy had a degree in Fashion Illustration and was a commercial artist for department stores for several years. After the family relocated many times, she was a homemaker. She was involved in church, scouts, and the kids’ sports and activities. She was a loving wife and mother. She went on several mission trips to Haiti. Traveling with Clif to different places in the world was a highlight. Clif and Nancy were longtime residents at Willow Brook Christian Village where she was very well cared for in the Passages Memory Care Unit for the past 5 years.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her children, Clifton Mark (Patricia) Bailey, Karen Shilling, Beth (Ron) Bryant, Amy Szypula, and Julie Bailey; brother, David Ashby Health; grandchildren, Becky (Matt) Morris, Jackie (Scott) Bell, Chris (Dena) Shilling, Paul (Julia) Bryant, Emily (Richard) Ashton, Catie Szypula, Rachel, Heather, and Alex Bonsky; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and close family friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11am, at Riverview Cemetery, 524 W. Third Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
