Nancy Ann Ernest passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 14, 2025, at the age of 94. Preceded in death by her husband, John Ernest, parents, Edna and William Dawson, and son-in-law, Michael Himics. She is survived by son, Richard Laier; daughter, Ann Ernest, and her husband, Brian McDonald; son, Thomas Ernest, Sr., and grandson, Thomas (TJ) Ernest, Jr. Her winning smile, quick wit, and amazing cooking will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at noon on May 22, 2025, in Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, Ohio, 43223. Those who wish to do so are invited to join the family at Schmidt’s for lunch after the ceremony.
