

Norman Randolph Day was born November 14, 1945 Athens, Ohio. Norman passed away August 19, 2025 at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents Bette (Engh) Day and William S Day, brothers William Bruce Day, Howard E. Day II, Jack B Day and his beloved son Matt Day. Survived by his daughter Kelly (Bobby) Barcus and son Aaron (Heather) Day. Also survived by his grandchildren Natalie Barcus, Brendan Barcus, Sonny Day, Gabrielle Day and Isabelle Day and his beloved dog Abigail. Norman is also survived by his twin sisters Sally (Todd) Shane and Susie (Mike) Miller; many nieces and nephews, Cousins, as well as friends and neighbors. Norman loved and was so proud of his grandchildren, he always tried to attend their events as much as he could, often getting tears in his eyes watching them doing the things they loved to do the most. Norman graduated Worthington High School in 1965, and went on to attended Franklin University. Norman was a partner within the family business, Day Brothers Development Company, and he was a founding member of Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Powell, Ohio. Norman was an award winning trapshooter. Norman had a love of music from country, jazz, symphony, marching and would love to listen to people playing the piano. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday September 14, 2025 at Brookside Country Club from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Kelly and Aaron would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dublin Rehab Center and Dublin Methodist Hospital for all they care they showed Norman.
