

It is with profound sadness, yet deep gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Patricia (Perry) McKee. Patricia (Pat) lived her life with purpose, love, and a dedication to family and friends.
Born December 26, 1929 in Painesville, Ohio, She moved to Columbus, Ohio with parents Harold and Louise and sister Carol (Weber), where she attended West High School. She participated in various school clubs, was head cheerleader and was nominated homecoming queen, graduating in 1948. She always felt that her early secretarial career working for the State Teachers Retirement System provided her with valuable skills throughout her years. After marrying, Pat and her husband, Charles moved and became long-time residents of Minerva Park where she served as President of the Women’s Society & Civic Association, participated in the Rose & Garden Club and was involved in 4th of July activities.
Throughout her life, Pat was known for her kindness, compassion, and selflessness. She was deeply involved in the community, her passion for helping others was evident in everything she did, and her love for her family was boundless. She cherished cooking, traveling and entertaining, always bringing people together with her caring, inviting spirit. Pat touched the lives of many with her warmth, selflessness and joyful laughter, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Pat is survived by her two children Richard (Beth Crane) McKee and Kathleen (Michael) Sekeres, her beloved grandchildren Andrew McKee, Ashley (John) Osinski, Elizabeth, Alex, Anna, Erin (Sekeres), and great-grandchildren Adelaide, Crosby and Leo (Osinski). As well as her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Charles E. McKee Jr., her parents Harold and Louise Perry, and sister Carol (Perry) Weber.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Schoedinger Worthington, 10am to 12pm. All who knew Pat are welcome to join us in honoring her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Mid-Ohio Food Bank. https://give.mofc.org
