Peggy Greene, passed away on September 1, 2024. She was born on January 8, 1937, in Bedford Indiana, to the late Bruce and Lena (Bowers) Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, of 56 years, Francis “Butch” Greene; sisters, Patty and Nancy ‘Oss’.
For the majority of her life Peggy was a proud homemaker helping take care of and raise her family. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and bowling.
Peggy will be greatly missed by her two children, Anthony (Sheryl) of Palm Beach Gardens FL and Timothy (Laura) of Cutler IN; five grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, Zackary (Caitlin) Kyle (Leigh Ann) and Terumi (Bailey); and three great-grandchildren, Kelby, Ada, and Edison.
Per her wishes there will be no services and her remains will be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital City Hospice.
