Ramona G Remely (Smith) passed away on May 1, 2022. She was born July 7, 1924 in Bartlett, Ohio on the family farm to Glenn and Gladys Dickson Smith. Ramona graduated from Bartlett High School and worked in the insurance industry for Nationwide Insurance Company and for Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Worthington Chapter and the Maize Manor United Methodist Church. After retirement, Ramona and her husband, Gale R. Remely, enjoyed dividing their time between both Ohio and Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gale, and her sister Wilma Jean Newton. Ramona is survived by her daughters Ann Remely and Lois Remely, and her grandson Braunsen (Victoria) Schumm.
Ramona’s family will receive visitors on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 9am to 10am at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, OH prior to a 10am funeral service. Family will have burial later that day at Bartlett Cemetery.
