Stuart, known as “Stu” and “Lenny” to many, made Central Ohio his home for all 80 years of his life. A proud son of his country, Stuart served in the US Army for 2 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an active member of Lewis Center United Methodist Church.
Stuart is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lana; their three sons Eric (m. Carrie Ann), Andrew (m. Carrie), and Scott (m. Katie); his 11 grandchildren Sela (m. James), Braden, Grant, Keely, Sonny, Levi, Scotty, Benson, Stella, Elise, John; and his 2 great-granddaughters, Mary Kathryn and Lucy. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel (m. JoAnn) and their children.
Stuart will be fondly remembered for his dedication and love for his family; his service to his country; his doting love as a very proud Grandpa (“GP”); his skilled and enthusiastic woodworking; and his signature mustache.
A private service for close family only will be held at Schoedinger’s on Monday, January 19th with a private internment to follow at Kingwood Cemetery.
