Angie was born to Rudolph and Julia Machala on July 2, 1932, in Crosby, Texas. In 1945 the family relocated to the Yakima Valley. She graduated from Marquette High School in 1951.
Angie married the late Donald Burns in 1952. Together they had five children: Ronald, Timothy, Jeffrey, Dawn, and Philip.
Angie was a woman of deep faith. She had been a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church since 1972. Angie was a loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite pastimes included reading and spending time with her family.
Angie is survived by her five children, 13 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by four siblings: Sister Adele Marie Machala of Victoria, Texas; Rudy Machala of El Campo, Texas; Joe Machala of Kettle Falls, Washington; and Clem Machala of New Orleans, Louisiana.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 27th
at 1:00 p.m. at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home in Yakima.
