

Anissa was born on July 27, 1983 to parents Jeff Hiebert & Lisa McGraw. Anissa grew up in Yakima and graduated from A.C. Davis High School.
She started her one and only job at Rosauers Grocery Store in 2001. When she started, she was a courtesy clerk, finishing her career as a bakery manager in 2025.
Anissa had a warm personality, great sense of humor, and a perfect smile. She was an old sole who cherished her family and all children. She was always willing to give a helping hand to all.
Anissa embraced stage four colorectal cancer with a vengeance, strong until the end. She embraced her colostomy and would share her experiences with it to whoever would engage in learning the process. The drives to and from Seattle were difficult with chemo and surgeries. She took her pain meds and away she went. Anissa also spent a short time at North Star Lodge for chemo.
Anissa met her husband, Chris Jones online 15 years ago. Chris was from the western side of WA. Their relationship was soon blooming and Chris moved to Yakima.
Chris and Anissa were married on June 13, 2015. They have fur babies Bella, Sadie, Semi. They were her "Girl's".
They enjoyed taking the dogs camping, to the beach and the park to have a good run. Anissa enjoyed family camping trips especially after they got a new trailer. She was so happy it made going so much easier.
Anissa enjoyed crafting, almost anything, painting, making homemade gifts for family and friends. T-shirts with decals, or personal ones for any event or holiday. She enjoyed coloring, reading and swimming.
Anissa is survived by her husband Chris Jones. Parents Lisa McGraw and Jeff Hiebert, Parents-in-law Paul Jones and Penny Dobson, Karen and Doug Kelley, grandfather Costa Perez, chosen sister Katie McGraw and niece Kimberly Lejia.
She is also survived by aunts, Connie, Cindy and Lori, and her uncle Greg. Her favorite cousins Christin, Kharizma and Dawson, Kaidon, Josh and Autumn, Mikah, Briella, Annabelle, Joshua, Cameron, Joe, Abi, Miguel, Devin. Numerous great aunts, uncles. Her godmother Sharon Anderson.
Anissa is predeceased by her brother Jered Hiebert, her uncle Nick, her grandma Dolores Perez, Elsie & William McGovern. Nicholas Perez & Cecilia Silva. Cecil Hiebert, Sharon Johnson, Robert & Dorothy Buckles.
Thank you too all the staff at the oncology department at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle and North Star Lodge in Yakima every person loved her great attitude and personality.

A visitation will be held at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, 1010 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902, on March 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 am with an hour for viewing beforehand beginning at 9:00am.
A graveside committal will follow the funeral service at Calvary Cemetery, 1405 S 24th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902, on March 27, 2026, at 11:45 am.
