She married the love of her life, Lee, in June 1964. They spent 55 years making wonderful memories. They owned a summer home in Lake Roosevelt and enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding.
Barbara loved to go to Hood Canal and Birch Bay to get seafood. She loved to travel and enjoyed visiting Alaska and Branson, MO.
She loved watching her children and grandkids play sports and was a fierce supporter. She loved her dogs and raised and sold poodles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; her parents; and her brother, Bill Johnston.
She leaves behind sons Alan, Bill, and Corey (Roxanne); grandsons Cody (Jade), Wyatt, and Triston; and granddaughter Katrina; great-granddaughter Lexy and great-grandson Casey.
A graveside service will be held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park, 3001 Terrace Heights Dr., Yakima, WA 98901, US, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10:00 am.
