Bill retired from State Farm Insurance after 30+ years. He was passionate about fishing any chance he could and rarely passed up a deal on a used reel. He also loved collecting bear figurines of all shapes and sizes. Quietly wise, yet always learning, Bill researched anything and everything that caught his interest. His dry wit will be missed by all who coveted his company. He loved his multi-faceted family with a feisty resolve and "in-your-face" mentality.
Mr. Cable is survived by his son, Terry and wife Tammie Cable of Roy, WA.; daughter Apryll and husband James Cable of Spanaway, WA.; grandchildren Brandi (Todd) Druse, Craig (Mandy) Kelson, Torie Kelson, Mindy (Kenny) Cook, Amy Cable, Daena Switzer, and Kirste Snow; and 8 great-grandchildren. His parents; wife Clarice; daughter Alena Kelson and grandson Chad Kelson preceded him in death.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 3pm at Rainier Memorial Center with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park, 3001 Terrace Heights Dr., Yakima. As per his request, memorial gifts can be made in his name to the National Rifle Association. To share a memory of Bill visit www.lmfuneralhome.com
