Born Carolyn Peterson in 1928, Connie spent nearly all of her 85 years in her beloved community of Yakima.
She met and married the love of her life, Vaile Bryant in 1948 and was blessed with two daughters, Carol and Lynn.
She delighted in the company of her family and many friends, enjoying tennis, bridge, and her bible study group. She loved hiking with Vaile around Mt. Rainier, traveling to Europe as well as vacations on the beaches of Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii.
She loved her pets and was especially thankful for her little dog Bo. All who knew her discovered a wonderfully kind and loving woman, committed to her family, community and church. We will all miss her kind heart and warm companionship.
She is survived by her sister Joan Carter, her daughters Carol Winstanley and her husband John of Seattle, Lynn Whiteside and her husband Dave of Yakima, seven grandchildren, Chris (Flavia) and Libby Winstanley, and Jacob (Anne), Casey (Kristen), Peter (Jessie), Jonathan and Christine Whiteside and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Avery Whiteside.
A special thanks to Dr. Bansal and her staff and to Yakima Regional Hospice.
