Chrystal Cheri Reyes Mendiola

Chrystal was born February 16, 1972, to Cheri Dee (Burns)& Vernon Wood in Pasco, WA. Chrystal got her GED and worked many different jobs around Yakima before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

Chrystal loved going to family gathering eating, visiting and laughing with everyone. She loved her children and always wanted them to succeed in life doing what they loved. She raised four beautiful children, Brian of Spokane, WA. Maria of Yakima, WA. Twins Angelica of Everett, WA and Agustin of Yakima, WA. She also had several grandchildren Adrian, Lizbeth, Ezekiel, Estefani, Citlaly, Ahyana, Yaneli, Matteo A., Genesis, Aurora, Paul, Benaiah, Rosalinda, Alaia, Israel, Mateo T., Mario and Xzavian. She loved spoiling her grand babies and would always be buying them treats.

Chrystal had a big kind heart and would help you out when you needed help. She loved getting together over dinner and family BBQs.

She loved reading different genre of books, but her favorite were novels. She also loved her cats especially Bear which, she had the longest.

Chrystal started her journey in faith with the help of the LDS Missionaries. They encouraged her to grow her faith and was so excited to get baptized June 8, 2024. It was a happy occasion for everyone.

Chrystal is survived by her 3 children, Brian (Patricia), Maria (Eliseo) and Angelica (Frankie), 1 sister Tanya, 2 brothers, Nathan and Steven (Isabel). Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, grand babies, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Cheri D. Gentry (Burns), son Agustin Tello and nephew Manuel M. Pantaleon.

Visitation will be at the 38th Ave Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints starting at 1:30 until 2:30. Funeral services will be held at the church at 2:30.
