

David Earl Ozanne passed away peacefully March 11, 2024. David was born October 10,1938 to parents Glenn and Freda Ozanne in Murdo, South Dakota. The family moved to Yakima Washington in 1943 and Yakima has been his home base ever since.
David enlisted in the US Marine Corp in 1955, where he proudly served for 22 years. While serving in the Vietnam war he received 2 Purple Hearts among other numerous Honors.
David met and married Heather, his wife of 63 years, in 1960. Heather served faithfully by his side in all of their adventures and endeavors. After retiring from the Marine Corp, he devoted his life to the Ministry. David earned a Ph. D, in Psychology and Counseling, which in turn, allowed him to help lead others to the Lord. David was a warrior for God and touched many, many lives, especially through Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is a ministry for people with life controlling issues, and was instrumental in David giving his life to the Lord.
For the last 25 years Davids ministry has taken him all over the world, where he and Heather were blessed to share their knowledge of God’s grace and comfort to numerous people.
David is preceded in death by his parents and brother (Ronnie).
David is missed by his wife Heather, sisters Joyce, Glenda, Faye and cousin Rod, 3 children Jeannette (John), Glenn, and David (Michelle), 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation for David will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. A graveside service will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Tahoma Cemetery, 1802 Tahoma Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. There will be a Celebration of Life, which will be announced at a later date.
